Historia Metallica
La historia de metallica se remonta al 9 de mayo de 1981 cuando Lars Ulrich y James Hetfield se conocen en una sección de clasificación para "The American Publication, The recyler" en la región de California.
Un año después se formó como tal la banda de rock Metallica formada por Lars Ulrich, James Hetfield y Ron Mc Govney. A partir de este momento se pusieron a trabajar y consiguieron sacar en enero una maqueta que tenía como tema principal la canción "Hit the lights".
El 14 de Junio de 1982, Metallica logra sacar su primer álbum titulado "Massacre". Gracias al éxito obtenido con este álbum, Metallica logró meses después poder realizar su primera gira junto con otros grupos como Testament o Exodus. Durante esta gira muchas fueron las incidencias que tuvieron dentro de la banda lo que provocó la expulsión de Ron McGovney el 10 de diciembre de 1982 siendo reemplazado el 28 de dichjo mes por Cliff Burton.
Posteriormente, concretamente el 11 de Abril de 1983, se produce la expulsión de Dave Mustaine por lo que Metallica se quedaba de nuevo huérfano y a la espera de ser recompuesto. Pero este hecho no produjo inestabilidad ya que poco tiempo después la discográfica "Megaforce" firma un contrato con el cual Metallica dió a luz a su primer trabajo comercial titulado "Kill 'Em all" (aunque inicialmente su nombre era Metal up your ass pero fue desestimado). En este trabaja ya estaban presentes James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett, Lars Ulrich y Cliff Burton como bajo.
Con todo ello en Mayo de 1983 sale a la luz el primer trabajo el cual fue todo un éxito debido a sus más de 250.000 copias vendidas en apenas 5 semanas. Este hecho lanzó a Metallica a la fama hasta este momento. Queriendo aprovechar el nuevo tirón que tiene la banda aparece en 1984 su segundo trabajo titulado Ride The Lightning. Este álbum supuso su consagración debido a la multitud de giras que les produjo entre las cuales destacamos el Breaking Sound de Paris lo cual supuso abrir nuevas fronteras y ampliar el radio comercial de Metallica.
Sin duda alguna el año 1986 es una año maldito para Metallica debido a que fue el año en que se produjo la pérdida de Cliff Burton en un accidente de tráfico en Europa. Este hecho supuso un punto de inflexión en Metallica ya que estubieron a punto de separarse para siempre pero, debido a la petición expresa de los padres de Cliff Burton, se reicieron y siguieron adelante dando a conocer su tercer trabajo conocido como "Masters of puppets". En este álbum se encuentra las últimas participaciones de Cliff Burton en Metallica.
Ahora se abria un nuevo ciclo de búsqueda de bajista. Este hecho produjo la masiva presentación de candidatos pero la banda eligió a Jason Newsted al creer que sería el mejor sustituto posible del maestro Cliff Burton.
La forma elegida de presentar a su nuevo intergrante fue mediante el trabajo "Garage Days" en 1988 el cual estaba compuesto por canciones y material de diversas formaciones.
Corto fue el descanso que se tomó la banda ya que en octubre de 1988 sacan al mercado su nuevo trabajo titulado "...And Justice For All". Era una época creativida excepcional para Metallica por lo que aprovecharon para grabar su primer videoclip referente a la canción One.
Acontinuación Metallica entró en un periodo de relax para poder trabajar en su nuevo álbum el cual fue muy criticado ya que defraudo muchísimo ya que en él Metallica cambia radicalmente su líne ade actuación. Dicho álbum fue "Metallica" aunque también hay quien lo llama "The Black Album" el cual fue lanzado al mercado en 1990.
concierto metallicaDespués de este lanzamiento, Metallica entra en una dinámica frenética de conciertos y giras mundiales tanto por EEUU como por Japón y Europa.
Tras varios años de giras por todo el mundo, Metallica decide entrar en los estudios de grabación para elaborar su nuevo trabajo entre 1995 y 1996. Dicho trabajo fue llamado "Load" y tuvo como singles "Until it sleeps", "Hero of the day" y "King nothing" el cual produjo un fenómeo jamás contemplado: la escasez de copias de dicho single para la cantidad de fans que lo buscaban lo cual produjo un auténtico record de ventas a nivel mundial. Tras esto, Metallica decide lanzar "Reload" como el complemento perfecto a su anterior trabajo.
Viendo la avalancha de éxitos que cosechaban Metallica sigue lanzando al mercado material propio con "Garage Inc" en el cual recogen los covers de la banda y 11 temas nuevos. Como todos los anteriores fue un gran éxito lo que produjo giras y conciertos por todo el mundo.
Tras esta locura de giras y conciertos sacan "S&M" el cual es un álbum recopilatorio de sus mayores éxitos grabado en vivo y en directo junto a la orquesta sinfónica de San Francisco.
Por todo esto Metallica es considerada una de las bandas de música con mayor peso a nivel mundial de la historia.
